First Visit?
Attending a new church, or attending church for the first time can be intimidating. We do our best to provide a friendly, welcoming environment that will make you feel at home. Here are answers to some of the questions you may have:
Where are you located?
We are located at 427 Franklin Road in Denville, NJ (1/4 mile South of Route 10), near the Denville/Randolph border.
Where do I park?
Plenty of off-street parking is available in our parking lot.
When is your worship service?
Worship is on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am, with some brief announcements at the start of each service. Youth begin their day in worship with their families and then leave for Sunday School classes.
How long are worship services?
Our worship usually lasts about 1 hour.
What should I wear?
We invite you to dress as you feel comfortable. You will observe a variety of styles, from suits and ties to casual dress clothes, to jeans and comfortable shirts.
How about my children?
Children are welcomed in our worship services! Elementary - middle school students are invited to join our Sunday School classes. We also provide child care for infants and toddlers during worship.
Will I be asked to introduce myself?
We welcome you to introduce yourself, but we will not single you out by asking you to stand or raise your hand. We invite you to join us for coffee hour following worship, where you may introduce yourself in a more casual setting.
Will I need to give money during the offering?
Absolutely not! Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest unless that is your wish.
What happens after the service?
For those who wish to join us, Coffee Hour is hosted (in the brick education building next door) after worship every Sunday to provide an opportunity for fellowship and refreshment.
Do you serve communion?
The Lord’s Supper is usually celebrated on the first Sunday of each month, Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and on other special days throughout the year.
